Pacifica - the story behind the dream
Pacifica was founded by Brook Harvey Taylor. As a child, fascinated by her mother’s kitchen spices, she was later inspired by Tom Robbins’ novel “Jitterbug Perfume” and began experimenting with essential oils. However, it was while Brook was at college in Oregon, studying aromatherapy, that her love affair with natural perfumes really began.

The Pacifica spray perfumes we stock at Bekkas are like none other you have ever experienced, with evocative names like Bali Lime Papaya; Brazilian Mango Grapefruit; French Lilac, Mediterranean Fig and Tuscan Blood Orange. Created with natural pure grain alcohol and essential oils, they involve no animal testing and are paraben and gluten-free.
There’s also a range of perfumed natural products for skin care, in the form of moisturising body butters and bio-degradable vegetable soaps – all with Pacifica’s delicious signature perfume blends.
